AFTERNOON TRUFFLE

+AFTERNOON TRUFFLE* (Kirchhoff) 26" E Re Ex Ev 5 1/2". The
blooms are a pastel, powder orchid splashed with pewter on the edges.
A deeper halo accents the yellow to lime green throat. The sepals are
a shade or two lighter than the petals and the first whorl of petals
exhibits a beveled midrib. The form of this double is a full, raised
petaloid type, often with three whorls of segments. Substance and color
hold up well in full sun. Scapes are very well branched and strongly
recurrent. We've never seen it bloom single. 99% double. (DON'T LOOK
BACK X SEEDLING).
