ALPINE AMETHYST

The bloom is a cool, (greyed) medium lilac-lavender color (#29D ON RHS color chart) with a darker lavender halo grading into lilac purple. The throat is yellow to green. The petal edges are ruffled with flecks of yellow, gold, lilac, and dark lavender. The texture is smooth and the substance is fairly heavy. It is to slow to increase, so supply is extremely limited. Well-branched, strongly recurrent scapes. Fertile pollen, though sets few pods.
