EDGY APPEAL

(Kirchhoff) 26" EM Re Ex Ev 6 ½". Many visitors have urged us to release this showy, pastel coral with red eye above the yellow to green throat. A ruffled, red edge bordered in gold encircles the petals. Texture is smooth and diamond dusted. Substance and color are fairly sunfast. Edgy Appeal is strongly recurrent - and like its sibling, Linda Daniels, is best during the summer's hottest days. The form is full and overlapped - with rounder segments than Linda D's. Scapes are strongly recurrent with 3 way branching. Its pollen is very fertile and produces seedlings with red eyes and edges. Pods are difficult to set, though we gathered 15 pods in 1999.
