Reminiscent in color of the gladiolus variety 'Elizabeth The Queen,' EVENING RAPTURE is an orchid lavender par excellence. The petals are edged in eggplant and dark plum, lavender and white gold, matching the pewter lavender watermark eye above the yellow to green throat. The edges are ornamented in pleats and strong, saw-tooth filigree. The form is full, with rounded petals and slightly rolled back sepals. The texture is smooth and diamond dusted. The strongly recurrent scapes have 3 -4 way branching and 20 - 25 buds. An excellent parent and very fertile both ways. Extremely limited.
