INNOCENT FIRE

(Kirchhoff) 30" EE Re Ex EV 5". Here's a warm, handsome beauty in exotic shades of toasted tangerine flashed with ripe currant red eyezones, and partial red edges. Its color is rich and saturated, but needs partial shade for optimum effect. The form is full, wide, overlapped and tailored. The petals arch, while the sepals are slightly recurved. Texture is smooth. Scapes are moderately well branched and strongly recurrent. A commanding garden presence and a pleasure to grow. Fertile both ways, though pods are not easy.
