(Kirchhoff) 30" M Re Ex Sev 5 ¾". Superbly elegant blooms, featuring a perfectly clear, unblemished, concentrated deep ruby red color with a blue sheen and chartreuse green throat. It was a favorite of many of our garden visitors this year. Dan Hansen of Ladybug Daylilies particularly favored this one. An early morning opener, the form is perfect with wide, overlapped segments, edged in pleated ruffles, and slightly recurved sepals. Many folks want clear reds without a trace of orange in the coloration and with its blue sheen, silken texture, sunfast color and substance LA VITA fits the criteria! One of the best rebloomers of the year the strongly recurrent scapes have 3 - 4 way branching and many buds.. Fertile pod and pollen. Limited.
