(Kirchhoff) 28" EE Re Ex Ev 6" Selected by daylily enthusiast and friend Lee Pickles, which is where this fine eyed orange gets its name. The bloom is a medium cantaloupe orange, with an orange red eyezone and apricot green throat. The form is consistently flat, full, overlapped and ruffled. Petals often measure 4" in width. Color and substance are reasonably sunfast. The strongly recurrent scapes are extremely well-branched with 3 -5 branches and up to 40 buds. Very fertile and an excellent parent.
