MANOR BORN

MANOR BORN* (Morss) 30" L Re Ex Ev 5 ½". This is an exquisite red-violet with a lavender watermark halo, and pale yellow to chartreuse throat. Planted next to HAZEL BALLARD, it was much admired by garden visitors. The blooms display a lighter colored edge outlined in pale yellow. Texture is smooth. Color and substance cope well. The form is full, widespread, ruffled, with slightly recurved sepals. The strongly recurrent scapes have 4 - 6 way branching and 30 or more buds. UNDERCURRENT X (SEEDLING X GILDED KNIGHT).
