MIDLIFE SPORTSCAR

(Kirchhoff) EE Re Ex Fr Ev. 5 ½" x 2 ½" 1 ½" A brilliant, cardinal berry red with yellow border in small pleats and some filigree. There is a subtle, lighter watermark grading into a yellow zone above the wide, triangular, green throat. Form is full and widespread, towards triangular, with wide, overlapped petals and slightly recurved sepals. The color is affected by the the sun, but when the temperature is in the high 90's, the color is still good, strong, bright and beautiful, all day. The scapes are well branched and strongly recurrent. Very fertile, both ways. Forever Red X (Dragon King x Autumn Valentine)
