San Luis Watermark

SAN LUIS WATERMARK* (Morss) EE Re Ex Ev 5 ½" - 6".
There is a subtle, though bold drama in the color contrasts of this
new beauty. The flowers are a lovely, pastel, Indian yellow with a clear,
bluish lavender watermark eye pattern. The eye's lavender color is outlined
in imperial purple and grades into yellow above a bright lime green
throat. The outer petals are edged in tiny ruffles with a hairline edge
of purple. There is a lot of blue in that watercolor eye. The form is
full and triangular, with overlapped 2 ½" petals and rolled
back sepals. The texture is smooth and diamond dusted. The strongly
recurrent scapes have 2 - 3 way branching and 17 - 23 buds. Fertile.
