We think a more accurate color description would be black cherry red, layered with purple ink and midnight black purple. There's great depth of color, set off by a yellow to green throat. Texture is smooth and silky. The variable form is full, round and rolled back. The petals are pinched at the throat. Petal edges have a narrow white edge. The Pod and pollen are very fertile.
