TRUFFLE MANIA*

(Kirchhoff) 30" M RE FR EV 6 3/4"
Nicknamed "giant" in the garden, its color might simply be described
as coriander, with a deeper wash of yellow and salmon rouge above the
yellow to green throat. There are hints of yellow and almond colors, impressions
of a watermark and shadings above the throat from rose inward into bright
yellow to chartreuse. There's a touch of green at the heart. The cresting
on the petaloids is unusually wide and topped off with yellow ruffles.
TRUFFLE MANIA is a full petaloid double, with tightly ruffled and serrated
edges which turn up at the end. The petals are up to 3 ¼"
in diameter. The texture is smooth and diamond dusted. The strongly recurrent
scapes have 3 to 4 way branching and 23 - 25 buds. A parent of many exciting
new doubles. Fertile both ways. 99.99% double.
