(Morss 2004) 26” EM Re Ex Dor 5”. This is a gorgeous violet color with a wide, “blue” purple (rather than wine-purple) halo above a small green throat. An inner band of plum peach transits between the halo and green throat. The inner edge of the petals matches the halo, and is flecked with white gold. The form is widespread, overlapped, and ruffled. The petals roll back in hot weather. Violet veining and violet center petal stripes add texture. The scapes are strongly recurrent with 3-way branching. An easy parent.
