Welcome Greetings from Daylily World! Monet would have loved these daylilies and so will you! Some artists use paint and some use musical instruments. Some work with glass and some work with marble. Others work with hair, cosmetics, wood, charcoal and paper – while bronze, decoupage, quilting, ikebana and tea ceremonies have great appeal. We have tried a number of mediums ourselves – music, gourmet cooking, oil painting, pencil drawing, ceramics, greasepaint, pastels, writing, and others - but along with thousands of other wonderful folks, we find daylilies the most beguiling, magical, and transcendental of them all. Come join us and enjoy another bumper crop of new daylily seedlings. We enjoy your visits. Peak bloom occurs from May 1 - 30. Please check with us a week or two ahead to see when exact peak is expected. It often lasts 2 weeks and sometimes we enjoy "peak" two or three times in a season. The garden will be open beginning April 15. Garden hours are 10:30 - 1:30, Wednesday to Sunday - although if you can't make it during those hours, please call and we'll give you a special tour. The garden closes except by appointment after June 1. The longevity of our company is directly related to having outstanding plants and striving for complete, total customer satisfaction. Without either, we would have been gone long ago. With very few exceptions - those being the newest of the new and the rarest of the rare - the plants are a minimum of two fans. Often they are more. We strive to furnish exactly what you request, when you request it - and offer among the largest variety and selections of daylilies in the United States. Glorious Gardening, David and Mort |
