Garden Visits

You are invited

Come and enjoy Daylily Splendor in the Bluegrass. Make plans to stay and visit historic homes attractions and gardens of the bluegrass. Every year, we  add hundreds of new companion plants and features to enhance the daylily magic.

We are located on top of historic Abbots Hill, twenty minutes from the Lexington airport and about 90 minutes from the Louisville and Cincinnati airports. Daylily World is 10 minutes from bourbon distilleries, 20 minutes from downtown Lexington, Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill, the beautiful Keeneland Racetrack and the Kentucky Horse Park, home of the 2010 World Equestrian Games. Other destinations around the verdant Bluegrass countryside are nearby. The Kentucky Bourbon Trail is less than 10 miles away.

We enjoy greeting garden visitors, and our best bloom is from June 15 - July 7. Peak bloom could occur as early as the third or fourth week in June. As Winter turns to Spring, we will give updates on how the bloom is progressing. In the meantime, the garden is open by appointment year around.

The garden is open during the hours from 10:30 AM to 2:30, Wednesday – Sunday, June 15 – July 7 or by appointment. Just give us a call to be sure someone will be here to serve you.

Take SR 127 about 6 miles south of Lawrenceburg. We are about 1 ¾ mile east of SR 127 on Gilberts Creek Road (SR 513), the first road south of the Martha Lane Collins Bluegrass Parkway. (Turn up the hill immediately after mailbox # 1301. Phone 407-416-9119.
