Kentucky River Mist* (Morss 2015)  34" M Re Ext Ev 4 3/4".  (((Heaven's Declaring x sdlg) x sdlg siblings to Heaven's Declaring) x Solo Girl) Subtle and serene, the flower easily symbolizes the morning mists as they rise and float above the Kentucky River as it makes its way nearby. The exterior color is a pastel orchid - (morning reflections on the river) with a narrow amethyst border outlined in silver filigree. A patterned watermark halo suggests the river's fluidity in bands of pewter, lavender, lilac, and grey within amethyst veins. Its green heart symbolizes the trees at the river's edge inside a yellow throat to reflect midday sun.  The consistently formed and dependable blossoms present beautifully on erect, strongly recurrent scapes with four-way branching — fertile both ways.
