Charles Walker*

Charles Walker*  (Kirchhoff 2015) 28" ML Re Ex Ev to Sev 7".  This big beauty gets its name from our friend Charlie Walker, past president of the Blue Grass Hemerocallis Society of Lexington. The blooms measure up to seven inches of spicy orange, all spiffy with a soft white edge to frame its sizzling beauty.  Charles's love for daylilies seems boundless and his wife Beverly are familiar faces at daylily events throughout the Blue Grass. Visitors to the Kentucky Horse Park may have seen Charlie tending the daylily plantings there. Form is extravagant and open faced. Scapes have three way branching and are strongly recurrent.  Winters well!
