If you've ever seen a candy-apple- red
hot rod at an auto show, you know this color. Greg has never seen a red daylily
as truly bright and richly colored as this one. Add a velvety patina and you have a daylily
that's been highly appreciated by many visitors to both of our gardens in the last few years. (Greg, a sharp eyed hybridizer visiting from Michigan spotted it in our Florida garden a few years back).
