'Dumbfounded' is an exceptionally wide, round petaled pink with a broad yellow-to-green throat. We named this one 'Dumbfounded' because the form varies from being strictly hose-in-hose to having petaloid segments or extremely distinctive combinations of both types of doubling. We had to do a triple-take when it first bloomed to ensure someone had not placed a magnolia blossom atop the scape to fool us. The form so often reminds one that of a magnolia blossom. It reblooms dependably in Zone 6.
