This clear, guardsman red self with a faint watermark halo and yellow to green throat is near perfection. The exceptionally wide, overlapped 3" petals are edged in tiny pleats. A hint of wine flecks the pleated gold edge. Precisely formed, and an EMO with smooth texture. Substance and color are sunfast in 20% shade. A top seed producer in 2001 and 2002. The scapes have four-way branching and 25 - 27 buds. Awards: HM 2007
