Sandy Swayze of Swayze’s Daylily Garden selected, grew and evaluated this spectacular red daylily
and it was the most admired cultivar in her garden for two years in a row. Its ruffled red blooms stopped traffic along a corner path with scapes displaying three – four way branching. It is named after the Bourbon County (KY) Volunteer Fire Department. Reluctant pod parent, fertile pollen.
