It is the beautiful sculptural form, the elusive lavender color and unusual throat pattern that define this remarkable, and quietly awesome double flowering cultivar. The extra petaloid segments are elongated and rise dramatically above the wide, extended yellow throat pattern. The color can seem to be gun metal gray or pewter and at times closer to orchid lavender. The texture is silky, and color holds quite well. Scapes are strongly recurrent. Moderately fertile.
