This cultivar was named after a beautiful dark bay mare horse by the same name. Very stylish, 'Mystery Trip" is an appealing pink self with double with hints of lavender and rose. It has a yellow-to-green throat, and is dressed up with deeper rose veining, a faint watermark, beveled midribs, a sweet fragrance and sweetly ruffled edges. The has a classic peony form.
